Trinity Partners grows Columbia portfolio, team

Commercial Real Estate Firm hires three industry veterans: Paul Hartley, Dail Longaker, and Rob Lapin

Columbia, South Carolina – March 7, 2019 – Trinity Partners is off to a strong start in Columbia, South Carolina. After less than six months in the South Carolina capital, the commercial real estate team includes 19 industry professionals and a leasing and management portfolio of more than 1.7 million square feet.

“We’ve certainly hit the ground running,” noted managing partner, Bruce Harper, SIOR. “We’ve built an incredible team of professionals who are dedicated to Columbia’s growth. Together we’ll continue to grow our Columbia portfolio and South Carolina footprint.”

Trinity Partners opened its Columbia office in September 2018 with partners and four senior brokerage professionals: Bruce Harper, SIOR, Macon Lovelace, SIOR, Roger Winn, SIOR, and Nick Stomski, SIOR. The four immediately went to work, opening an office on Downtown’s Main Street and building an elite team of respected industry professionals, including:

Paul Hartley, SIOR brings more than 35 years of industry experience to his role as Trinity Partners’ Director of Office Properties. Paul specializes in owner, buyer, and tenant representation for office sales and leasing, and is consistently ranked among the city’s top-producing brokers. “In a very short period, we’ve assembled a truly elite team comprised of Columbia’s top brokerage producers and a staff of proven professionals we believe is the most dynamic commercial brokerage group in the market,” Hartley said. “We are excited about our measured, steady growth and plan to continue building our Columbia team while growing the Trinity brand across South Carolina.”

Dail Longaker is now Trinity Partners’ Director of Investment Services, with more than 30 years of industry experience. Specializing in investment property brokerage, Dail’s primary focus is on retail, office and industrial income property brokerage throughout the Southeast. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to join my colleagues and friends at Trinity Partners’ new Columbia office. My concentration on investment property brokerage and advisory work requires me to have access to expert, detailed, and current market intel across the retail, industrial, and office markets. This Trinity team offers unparalleled market knowledge that I can leverage to serve my clients,” noted Longaker. “Our entire team is eager to share Trinity’s broad scope of services and industry expertise developed over its 20 years of serving institutional and individual clients throughout the Southeast.”

Rob Lapin brings nearly two decades of industry experience to his role as Trinity Partners’ Director, Brokerage Services, specializing in Office, Industrial, and Retail Tenant Representation and Landlord Brokerage. “I was excited about joining the Trinity Partners team, and was particularly drawn to their unique culture, collaborative work environment, and the opportunity to work with such an accomplished, respected group of industry professionals. My experience with the team so far has surpassed all of my expectations,” noted Lapin.

“Between our team of eight senior brokers, five of which hold the prestigious SIOR designation and three brokerage associates, we’ve got more than 155 years of experience,” Harper said. “Our senior brokers average 21 years of experience alone. It’s an honor to work with such an accomplished group in a growing city. All of us have a tremendous amount of appreciation for what our city offers and are eager to be a part of the city’s future.”

Trinity’s brokerage associates support partners and senior brokers. Braden Shockley works closely with partner Roger Winn and Paul Hartley on office assets. Jake Nidiffer and partner Nick Stomski focus on mainly industrial assets, and Robbie Cook, partner Macon Lovelace, and Dail Longaker specialize in investment property sales. Additionally, Alex Waelde recently joined the industry and is starting his career at Trinity Partners in general brokerage.

Ashley Owens has joined Trinity as a Senior Property Manager. The 12-year industry professional manages a portfolio of office, retail, flex, and industrial assets. “Trinity’s culture and this Columbia team have created an environment that you want to be a part of as soon as you walk in the door,” Owens said. “It’s infectious. Trinity and my colleagues push me to be the best in my field while giving me the support and tools we need to deliver an exceptional tenant and client experience.” Ashley and her team, including Maggie Tucker, tenant services coordinator, focus on bringing unmatched institutional quality property management service to the market.

“After almost six months on Main Street, not only do we have an excellent brokerage and property management team, we’ve onboarded several office and marketing pros, too. It’s rewarding to watch the team bring Trinity’s culture of integrity, best-in-class performance, and true collaboration to every transaction, conversation, and engagement with their clients and colleagues across the region,” Harper said. “It’s been a whirlwind of a six months, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
