Prior to joining Trinity Partners, John worked in the commercial real estate industry for a regional industrial development group. He worked in multiple facets of the company that included everything from site selection and project management to accounting and corporate finance. During his tenure, he helped to oversee the development of more than ten million square feet of industrial warehousing product.

John received his IMBA from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, where he also received certificates in Data Analytics and Global Strategy. He also completed internships with Columbia real estate firms Baker & Baker and Cason Development Group where he helped develop and bring to market numerous projects throughout the South Carolina Midlands.
John graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Public Policy Studies and an M.A. in Political Science. While enrolled at Duke, he played on the Varsity Football Team, and was a member of the 2013 team that won the ACC Coastal Championship and played in the Peach Bowl.

John graduated from Leadership Columbia in 2023 and is a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Columbia. When not at work, John enjoys fishing, traveling, cooking and spending time with his wife, Laura.
