Eric is an Associate on Trinity Partners’ Investment Sales team in the firm’s Charlotte office, where he focuses on the advisory and disposition of investment properties throughout the Carolinas. After joining Trinity Partners in 2022 as a Senior Analyst, he was quickly promoted to Associate, supporting senior partners across all phases of transaction execution. His responsibilities include financial modeling, market and submarket analysis, preparation of offering materials, buyer outreach, due diligence coordination, and the execution of sale transactions for institutional and private capital clients.
Prior to joining Trinity Partners, Eric was an Associate at Churchill Real Estate, a Charlotte-based real estate investment and structured lending firm with more than $73.8 billion in assets under management across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. During his tenure, he led the firm’s DSCR whole-loan platform, acquiring and aggregating long-term commercial debt products for institutional investors. Following his assumption of responsibility for the platform in November 2021, trade volume increased from $20.3 million in the preceding six‑month period to $307.1 million over the subsequent six months.
Earlier in his career, Eric worked as a mergers and acquisitions financial analyst intern with a middle-market investment banking firm and later with RealOp Investments, a real estate private equity firm focused on office and industrial assets throughout the Southeastern United States. At RealOp, he was involved in approximately $319 million of transactions through a multi-fund joint venture with a global private equity sponsor. His role encompassed all aspects of the investment process, including underwriting, market research, due diligence coordination, debt sourcing, and the preparation of investment memoranda and internal reporting for institutional partners.
Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Furman University, where he competed in the CFA Institute’s annual Research Challenge – a global competition that tests students’ equity research and valuation, investment report writing, and presentation skills. In 2017, he served as lead analyst for the highest scoring team in Furman’s history of competition.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, Katherine, and their dog, Winston. He is an avid traveler, a dedicated supporter of the Carolina Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes, and enjoys unwinding on the beaches of Kiawah Island.
