News Trinity Partners Expands and Extends McKesson Corporation at Four Resource Square

May 17, 2012

Charlotte, NC – May 17, 2012 – Trinity Partners is pleased to announce the expansion of McKesson at Four Resource Square. The healthcare services and information technology company previously occupied 58,695 square feet on several floors of the building. The new lease expands the company to 75,057 square feet. McKesson originally moved into the building on December 3, 1999.

“We are honored McKesson chose to stay at Four Resource,” said Leah Bailey, Senior Leasing Agent at Trinity Partners. “They are truly a landmark tenant, and we look forward to being a part of their continued growth and success at Four Resource Square.”

Bailey noted that recent transactions in the Northeast office submarket indicate growing interest in the area. “With the McKesson expansion, our vacancy rate at Four Resource Square is now at 24%, compared to the overall 29% submarket vacancy,” Bailey said. “With the McKesson expansion at Four Resource, the Wells Fargo expansion, and AXA’s relocation from Ballantyne to the submarket, it certainly feels like the Northeast is gaining momentum.”

Mark Herpel, Barney Earles, and Adam Loges of CBRE represented McKesson in the transaction. Bailey represented the landlord in the deal, and serves as the building’s exclusive leasing agent. Four Resource Square is a five-story, 151,849-square-foot Class A office building located on more than nine acres in the 1,800-acre University Research Park. Constructed in 1999, the building is located within one mile of Interstates 85 and 485, and in close proximity to the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
