News Trinity Partners’ Dylan Heafner, Mark Alviano Earn Coveted CCIM Designation
Raleigh, North Carolina – May 4, 2018 – After hours of classes, portfolio preparation, and exam-taking, Trinity’s own Dylan Heafner and Mark Alviano have earned the notable North Carolina CCIM designation. Recognized as one of the commercial real estate industry’s most respected designations, the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation proves that a real estate professional has demonstrated proficiency in all commercial investment real estate topics.
At 24-years-old and nearly three years into his professional real estate career, Heafner is one of the youngest recipients of the coveted designation.
“I am very honored to receive this designation, as this is something I have been working toward for nearly three years,” Heafner said. “To be one of the youngest with this designation means more than I can put into words. The benefit I am most excited about is that I will now be able to put into action this new skillset for present and future clients, providing higher-level direction for their real estate endeavors.”
Heafner and Alviano completed a rigorous process that included a four-course curriculum, an online ethics course, negotiation training, and elective courses from the Ward Center for Real Estate Studies. Heafner and Alviano also had to prepare extensive resumes chronicling actual field transactions and meet CCIM guidelines for dollar volume and years of experience in active commercial real estate brokerage.
Alviano was also the recipient of the North Carolina CCIM Past President’s Scholarship, a program created to support qualified real estate professionals in the final step of their efforts to achieve the CCIM designation.
“When starting new relationships, the CCIM designation tells project partners to expect a high degree of knowledge, experience and competence,” Alviano said. “Certainly, I expect to earn the trust and confidence of every client and colleague, but the inherent perceptions of a CCIM designee provide a solid foundation from which to start the relationship.”
Heafner has been with Trinity since 2015 and works as a Brokerage Services Associate for the firm’s Raleigh portfolio, and Alviano has been with Trinity since 2013 and works as the Director of Investment Property Sales in Raleigh.
“It is very important for Trinity Partners to be best in class in everything we do,” Sam DiFranco, Trinity Partners’ Partner, said. “The CCIM designation is a vital component to creating successful brokers and companies and we are proud of this extremely difficult procurement of such a highly-desired designation by both Mark and Dylan.”
