Trinity Partners announces the sale of two mixed-use office/retail developments in the Northend District of Matthews, North Carolina

Matthews, North Carolina – May 20, 2019 – 316 and 324 North Trade Street, as well as 920, 924 and 930 Park Center Drive in Matthews, North Carolina, have officially been sold to a private investment group based in Charlotte. David Morris and Dunn Mileham of Trinity Partners handled the sale on behalf of the seller, which included two entities controlled by Brookechase Properties, LLC.

Brookechase developed the multi-tenant buildings located in Matthews’ Northend District that sit prominently across from one another on North Trade Street and the corner of Park Center Drive. The combined properties total approximately 21,000 SF and were 100 percent occupied at the time of sale by Truliant Federal Credit Union, Jekyll & Hyde Restaurant, riz Salons, Which Wich, and Jet’s Pizza, among other tenants.

“The assets are excellent examples of successful infill development in proximity to Matthews’ town center and central business district, which is a hub of activity for the densely populated surrounding suburbs,” said David Morris, Trinity Partners Director of Investment Sales. “The quality of the construction and attention to detail have made Brookechase’s developments the location of choice for many of the area’s premier neighborhood service providers, which is evidenced by the strong historical occupancy and brand-name rent roll.”
