News Trinity Capital Purchases Toringdon 2 in Toringdon Office Park

Charlotte, NC – November 13, 2012 – Trinity Capital Advisors is pleased to announce their purchase of Toringdon 2, an additional acquisition in South Charlotte’s Toringdon Office Park. The partnership now owns four of the park’s six office buildings (Toringdon 1, 2, 6, and 8), 12 acres of land, and the parking deck for Toringdon 3 and 5.

This most recent acquisition was made through the same joint venture group that previously purchased the other assets: Trinity Capital, Stockbridge Capital Group, and Madison International Realty.

“We are continuing with our long-term plan to recapitalize the entire office park,” noted Sean McKinley, Trinity Capital’s CFO. “Since our first purchase in June of this year, we’ve been adding value and repositioning the park within the market, and we look forward to future opportunities within the park.”

Currently 100% occupied, Toringdon 2 is a 72,500 SF Class A building located at 3430 Toringdon Way. Tenants include Keller Williams, Coats, and Metso Paper. The six-building Toringdon Office Park is a mixed-use master planned development, conveniently positioned at the gateway to Ballantyne with unimpeded, immediate access from I-485.
