News Steel Yard Sells, Trinity Keeps Leasing + Management
After we took it from 62% to 96% occupancy, Steel Yard has a new owner: Trinity Capital Advisors has sold the iconic South End property to Stockbridge Capital Group. Rhea Greene, Partner and Director of Office Leasing, will remain lead broker on the project under the new ownership, and Stockbridge has retained Trinity Partners’ Property Management services. James Hollins will continue serving as Property Manager.
“Steel Yard is such a phenomenal asset in one Charlotte’s hottest submarkets,” said Greene, who began leasing the three buildings in the fall of 2011. “I’m proud of the value we added by improving the quality of the buildings and dramatically increasing occupancy. It’s a huge compliment to be trusted with the asset for new owners, and James and I are thrilled to have the chance to continue working on Steel Yard on behalf of Stockbridge.”
We currently work with Stockbridge on our Toringdon portfolio, leasing and managing four Class A office buildings and a build-to-suit opportunity at 100 Toringdon Way. Stockbridge owns the portfolio in a joint venture with Trinity Capital.
