News Patterson Pope to Relocate Corporate Headquarters to 110 East in Charlotte’s South End

Nov 18, 2024

Patterson Pope, a leading designer and implementer of storage system solutions, today announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters to 110 East, a new Class-A office tower located in Charlotte’s vibrant South End neighborhood.

The company signed a lease for a 6,565 square-foot pre-built office suite on the tower’s 12th floor,
offering views of the city skyline. Patterson Pope is currently working with CFID Studio for interior design to create a modern, collaborative and engaging work environment for its employees.

“Our new location at 110 East reflects our commitment to fostering a dynamic workplace environment
that aligns with our company culture and mission,” said Ben Gold, President and CEO of Patterson Pope. “This move provides us with a space that inspires collaboration and connection, while also offering inspiring amenities to host and engage with clients and colleagues.”

The new headquarters marks a significant upgrade from Patterson Pope’s current office on North Graham Street. With over 50 years in business, the Patterson Pope team is excited to work together in a new space reflective of the firm’s growth, innovation, and creative approach to solving storage challenges.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Patterson Pope as our first major tenant at 110 East,” said Jack Corey, Vice President of Debt Capital Markets at Shorenstein. “With 110 East, we were committed to developing a destination that reflects the evolution of the modern workplace, with a focus on how people work and connect. Patterson Pope’s enthusiasm for the building – and the workplace environment it will enable the firm to cultivate – is truly rewarding.”

Patterson Pope is the first announced tenant at 110 East. The firm leased one of the tower’s three pre built suites. In addition to its world-class amenities, 110 East features 12 stories of 29,000 square-foot floor plates atop a nine-story parking garage, as well as 5,800 square feet of ground-floor retail space at the East / West stop of the LYNX Light Rail Blue Line.

110 East is the first phase of development along East and South Boulevard. Future phases of the office and retail campus development include the renovation of The Jones Building, a historic 100-year-old, 11,740 square-foot retail building formerly home to Tupelo Honey. Shorenstein Properties and Stiles are currently planning for a second phase of pre-built office suites at the property and expects to make additional office and retail tenant announcements for the campus soon. 110 East was developed by Shorenstein Properties and Stiles through a joint venture partnership.
