David_blogTrinity Partners and Trinity Capital Advisors are saddened to announce the passing of one of our Founding Partners, David Allen, after his brave battle with pancreatic cancer. David began his commercial real estate career in 1985 with CB Commercial, focusing on investment sales. In 1998 and 2001, respectively, he formed Trinity Partners and Trinity Capital Advisors in 2001 with Peter Conway and Gary Chesson. Together with Gary and Peter, David guided Trinity Partners and Trinity Capital through remarkable growth, building Trinity’s entrepreneurial spirit and culture through his engaging presence, charm, and vision. David was known for his remarkable business acumen and leadership skills, often serving as mentor to others while developing deeply-rooted relationships with commercial real estate colleagues across the country. A graduate of Wake Forest University, David was married to Mari Ann, and together they have three children; Rachel, Blake, and Will. An avid outdoorsman, he never left his Cabarrus County roots and regularly spent time at his Concord farm on his tractor, bailing hay and tending to his cows. He was also a devoted member of his church, Myers Park Presbyterian. It goes without saying that he will be deeply missed, and our Trinity Family sends our love and prayers to David’s wife, children, and extended family. David will be fondly remembered as one of the finest leaders in both our industry and community. We consider ourselves tremendously lucky to have had the chance to call him our partner and friend, and his legacy will continue on through our work every day at Trinity Partners and Trinity Capital. David’s memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 3rd at Myers Park Presbyterian Church.
