Bridge Investment Group announces Harris Corners renovation plans, signs over 30,000 square feet in transactions

Charlotte, North Carolina – October 17, 2018 – With Bridge Investment Group’s recent purchase of Harris Corners Corporate Park, a three-building, Class-A office park located in Charlotte’s Northeast submarket, comes plans of renovations and over 30,000 square feet in new leases and renewals.

Between the three buildings, seven office leasing deals have closed, totaling 31,271 square feet. Since Bridge acquired the building nine months ago, new tenants to the park include Energy 2 Engage (represented by Avison Young’s A.J. Whitehead), Aflac, and The Hershey Company (represented by CBRE’s Mike Fahey). Additionally, Booth & Associates recently renewed at One Harris Corners. Trinity Partners’ Jennifer Kurz and Maddy Howey lease Harris Corners Corporate Park on behalf of ownership.

Bridge Investment Group has an extensive courtyard renovation in the works, which will offer Wi-Fi, food truck parking and plenty of outdoor seating. Bridge is also developing a new state-of-the-art tenant training and conference room, both slated for completion this fall. These new amenities join an existing tenant amenity center complete with a Canteen Market and fitness center with locker rooms and showers.

Located in the Northeast/Interstate 77 submarket, Harris Corners consists of three multi-tenant, Class-A office buildings totaling 357,654 square feet. The buildings are prominently situated at the southeast corner of the Interstate I-77 / W.T. Harris Boulevard interchange, easily accessible from all over the city. New development around the park includes a dual-branded Marriott hotel (Courtyard and Residence Inn), Dunkin’ Donuts, and Jimmy John’s. The park is minutes away from Northlake Mall and University City, and home to over 40 tenants, including Husqvarna, Berry Plastics, Avast Software, Dewberry Engineers, and Bank of America.
