Columbia, South Carolina – October 17, 2019 – Trinity Partners recently marked its one-year anniversary in the Columbia market. The full-service commercial real estate firm opened its fourth location in 2018 led by four partners: Bruce Harper, SIOR (Managing Partner), Macon Lovelace, SIOR, Nick Stomski, SIOR, and Roger Winn, SIOR, formerly with NAI Avant. The four partners quickly went to work, and after only one year, the firm has executed more than 170 transactions and has grown its team to 23 commercial real estate professionals.

“To say I’m proud of our team would be a tremendous understatement,” said Harper. “It’s an honor to know that our clients have put their trust in us, and the work we’ve been able to accomplish and the volume of deals and overall growth in just one year makes it clear that we’ve put together a best-in-class group of industry professionals.”

Trinity Partners’ first-year leasing and sales transactions include close to two million square feet of office, industrial, medical, and retail space, and 230 acres of land sold. The firm’s leasing portfolio includes 1.57 million square feet across 78 buildings served by a 12-person brokerage team.

That best-in-class team includes local industry veterans Dail Longaker, Paul Hartley, SIOR, and Rob Lapin, SIOR. The three brokers are well-known throughout the industry for their expertise, performance, and in-depth market knowledge.

In addition to Trinity’s well-respected industry heavy hitters, the firm has hired several up-and-coming brokers to support brokerage efforts and Trinity’s entrepreneurial approach to commercial real estate. Braden Shockley, Jake Nidiffer, Alex Waelde, Robbie Cook, and William Mills work closely with the partners and senior brokers and are an important part of the firm’s successful first year.

“Partnering with Trinity allowed the four of us to field a team of both expert veterans and industry newcomers with the grit, competitive spirit, and fresh approach to our industry that was missing in the market,” Harper said. “Not only were we able to hit the ground running with transactions and grow our portfolio, we were able to build a remarkable team across all of our service lines while fostering a culture that gives our people what they need to get the job done, so they can take the ball and run with it.”

Notable assets in the firm’s leasing portfolio include 7 Technology Circle, 200 Center Point, 700 Huger Street, and 130, 1001, 1021, 1074 Pinnacle Point Drive in Pinnacle Point Business Park. In addition to the leasing efforts, the firm has significantly grown its property management team to help manage the 23 buildings in their property management portfolio (Including Columbia Heart and the Pinnacle Point buildings). Accomplished Columbia property management professional, Ashley Owens, joined Trinity in 2018 as Senior Property Manager to lead the property management team.

“One of the things that appealed to us most about Trinity Partners was the collaboration across service lines and different locations. They didn’t just talk the talk – they were focused on connecting the dots for their clients across leasing, management, investment sales – every step of the way, providing a team approach for each client,” said Harper. “And now we’ve been able to bring that same approach here to Columbia. We’re not siloed, everyone’s involved, and it makes the entire process not only more successful, but more fun.”

Trinity Partners, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, with additional offices in Raleigh (NC) and Greenville (SC), has been a regional industry leader since 1998 and now leases / manages more than 22 million square feet across the Carolinas, with 175 employees across their four offices. The Columbia office offers a full range of services within the office, industrial, retail, mixed-use, land, and medical office sectors, including leasing, property management, investment sales, development, project and construction management, and tenant representation.

“As a firm, we’re very strategic and deliberate about the people and places we choose for expansion markets,” noted Adam Colvin, Managing Partner at Trinity Partners’ headquarters office in Charlotte. “We couldn’t have asked for better partners in the market. They are die-hard believers in Columbia and know the region better than anyone. There’s so much opportunity for our team and our clients, and we’re looking forward to many more successful years to come.”
