Trinity Partners Construction Services team completes Haymaker Restaurant, farm-to-table concept in Downtown Charlotte

Charlotte, North Carolina – May 2, 2018 – Haymaker Restaurant, a 4,135 SF high-end, farm-to-table restaurant, recently opened in Downtown Charlotte at 225 S. Poplar St. with the help of Trinity Partners’ Construction Services team.

The 150-seat space features floor-to-ceiling windows, mezzanine-level and patio seating, and a chef’s table that overlooks the open kitchen. The restaurant was also featured by USA Today as one of March 2018’s most notable restaurant openings and took approximately five months to complete.

When Trinity’s Construction Services team began the project, the space was a cold, dark shell. The project entailed adding all utility work and extending the existing mezzanine, which was done to add another level of seating and to frame the kitchen area below.

Chef William Dissen, known for his restaurant, The Market Place in Asheville, is the chef and owner behind the Charlotte concept.

“We had a great experience working with Trinity Partners, and they surpassed our expectations with the outcome of their work and the quality of the finishes,” Dissen said. “We’ve had many people reach out about the quality of the work and design and can’t be prouder to call the new space our home for Haymaker Restaurant.”

The restaurant, located on the ground-floor of Ascent apartment building, is open seven days a week and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
