Charlotte, NC – March 9, 2012- Trinity Partners is pleased to announce Charlotte School of Law’s new lease in downtown’s Gateway Center.

The school will lease 41,000 SF of space in the building, located at 901 West Trade Street in downtown’s thriving Gateway district. Dan Millard of Vantage Real Estate represented Charlotte School of Law in the transaction. Trinity Partners’ Rhea Greene and Jennifer Kurz represented the landlord.

“This is an ideal location for CharlotteLaw, as the energy of the Gateway corridor is driven by the activity and excitement created by existing businesses and Johnson & Wales,” Greene said. “Students and faculty will truly benefit from that energy, the area’s established amenities, and the easy access from downtown’s major arteries and highways.”

Gateway Center is in the heart of Gateway Village, the largest urban mixed-use development in the Carolinas with a vibrant, walkable, campus-like environment. With this new lease, the 309,609 SF Gateway Center is now 100% occupied. CharlotteLaw joins Bank of America, the building’s other major tenant. Gateway Center is owned by Gramercy Capital Corp, a commercial real estate finance and property investment company operating in two complementary areas: Gramercy Finance, which focuses on the direct origination and acquisition of whole loans, subordinate interests in whole loans, mezzanine loans, preferred equity, CMBS and other real estate securities; and Gramercy Realty, which focuses on the acquisition and management of commercial properties net leased primarily to financial institutions throughout the United States.
