Ally Center // Pre-built Suite // ConferenceCharlotte, NC – April 1, 2013 – Trinity Partners’ Construction Services Group is pleased to announce the completion of JELD-WEN’s 23,000 SF headquarters upfit in downtown Charlotte’s Ally Center. This latest project wraps up the division’s successful first year, with over 30 projects completed.

Trinity Partners’ major construction projects include Ally Center’s successful pre-built office suites, Genesis 10’s office upfit in downtown’s historic Johnston Building, and extensive lobby renovations in South Charlotte’s Toringdon Office Park.

Randy Gonyea serves as Charlotte’s Director of Construction Services and joined the firm over a year ago to expand Trinity’s Construction Services platform into the Charlotte market. He works closely with Partner David Townsend, who runs Trinity Partners’ Raleigh office and Construction Services division in the Triangle. His group is currently working on Ally Center’s newest amenity, Just Fresh Restaurant, with a planned opening of April 2013.

“It’s been a great year for us,” Gonyea noted. “We’ve finished every job on schedule and within budget, which is a true feather in our cap.”
Gonyea has noticed a marked uptick in construction work and real estate transactions, one he hopes to capitalize on as he continues to grow Trinity’s construction platform. “We have seen a steady increase in activity over the past two quarters,” Gonyea noted. “And I’m proud of how we’ve been able to adjust to the changing marketplace. Even when deals take longer to close, and our construction schedule is shortened, we’re able to quickly and efficiently finish our work and meet demanding timelines.”

Gonyea attributes his group’s success to its immersion in the commercial real estate industry, allowing them to work closely with key brokers, project managers, property managers, and building engineers. “Because we are a part of a full-service real estate firm, we have an in-depth understanding of the entire transaction process, from landlord expectations to lease terms to property management guidelines,” Gonyea said. “It’s that intrinsic industry knowledge that serves as an advantage with each project, because we fully understand each stakeholder’s motivation, allowing us to ensure everyone’s goals are met.”
