Heartland Payment Systems leased 29,976 SF of space.

“Toringdon continues to prove that it’s the ideal blend of quality, location, access, and amenities,” noted Kurz. “The completion of the North Community House Road extension over I-485 and The Green’s groundbreaking only add to the park’s overall appeal. Great restaurants like Viva Chicken and Midwood Smokehouse across the street are the icing on the cake.”

The Green is Toringdon’s newest amenity, a pocket-park and urban green space in the heart of the Toringdon. Breaking ground this month, The Green will be finished summer 2015. In addition to the new park, Toringdon will soon welcome a new Hampton Inn facing North Community House Road, to be complete in 2016.

“It’s exciting to see the overall vision for Toringdon come together with the The Green, Hampton Inn, and especially the new North Community House Road bridge completion,” said Greene. Tenants today want activated outdoor space and walkable amenities. Toringdon is delivering on all fronts and we’re looking forward to continued growth in the market.”

Toringdon is owned by a joint venture between Trinity Capital Advisors, Stockbridge Capital Group, and Madison International Realty. The six-building office park is just over 500,000 sf and located in South Charlotte, immediately off of I-485 and Johnston Road, and home to notable tenants including TIAA-CREF, Crown Castle, Coats North America, Selective Insurance, and Pepsico.
